Dissidia Final Fantasy Box Cover Comments
Comment on tleeart's Dissidia Final Fantasy Box Art / Cover.
Alright, I have been wanting to do this one for awhile. I hope you guys like it. I know it's kind of weak, but the only thing I could do to do something different would have been to make my own art, which I may do if I do a 2nd Dissidia box.
Template is based on Snowcone's from The Cover Project.

I actually got the Cloud and Sephiroth from creative uncut before Shady got to post them. I made the logo under the largest screenshot. It's a 20th Anniversary logo for the Final Fantasy series, which actually happened in Japan in 2007, and will happen in America in 2011.
Sorry it's not my best quality, but I actually had to shrink this one down since the renders were low res.
I still like this one a lot, though.
I digitally painted the background on the entire box, and custom colored the logo to go with my color theme.

The text on the back is a little weird looking to me, but the design is beautiful otherwise. I love the skewed screen shots on the back, and the green tones are quite stunning.

#2, The back text was an experiment in type, trying to do extra emphasis on words that were important.
Maybe it's because the text is skewed?
I'll perhaps revisit the text, try to make it cleaner and more legible.
EDIT: Okay, I see. I'll work something out soon, then.

#3 I can read the text, but I think the it looks a little too tall. I think with some minor adjustments, it won't catch my eye wrong.

Why does the art not fit the template? The plastic is longer than the artwork. Kind of easy to fit it correctly..

I dunno. I like the front a lot, but the back is just so lacking. I think it's the text that's throwing me off. It looks all too plain. But you've apparently done a lot of work on this, so I'll fav it for the effort you've put up, and the front.

The only thing bothering me is the green outline around the Dissidia logo. The back is okay but I really couldn't suggest anything to make it better, so I'll just leave it at that. It's pretty spectacular considering what other people have done with this title, great job.

#6, I don't understand what you're saying, it's supposed to be the plastic of the box. It's supposed to be bigger than the art?

VERSION 2 UPDATE!
First off, the front stays the same, I think everybody liked it okay, so it's still the same.
Okay, so here's what's new:
I removed the Dolby Pro Logic II logo. Also because I said so. Now I had more room for my 20th Anniversary logo.
I added some visuals to the back, it's the bad guys all lined up, and Chaos in behind them.
I edited the size of the plastic surrounding the box and cut down on glare, is that what you were talking about, Trev?
I scrapped what I didn't like about the description, and FIXED THE TEXT. I like it much more now, I hope you all feel the same.

#23, #24, Only time can tell. Either way, I did this one mostly for me, because I love the art for this game. Well, that and the shocking shortage of Dissidia boxes on this site.
I really don't want to, but this game might make me buy a PSP since it looks like so much fun.
