I first came up with the design for this last year, when I played Animal Crossing: New Horizons. I think I may have been inspired by Seaman, on the Sega Dreamcast, of all things. New Horizons was actually the only Animal Crossing game I've played, but I figured this design would work better for the original game.

It's great to see some familiar faces. Yeah, the site has been in dire straights for years now. I recall an influx of posts from as far back as 2018 commenting on the lack of activity. It's hard to expect anything more from a community that no longer has a join function. But the way I see it, it's good to still have a creative outlet, even if not a lot of people see it.
