Oh man, I love this.
The box itself looks really fresh and up to date, like something I'd see in a shop display, but the N64 cover itself just ties in a new style with a retro style perfectly.
The front cover is so immersive with a beautiful 3D render of a Pokémon rather than the typical flat image, and the 3D mad behind it is incredible. You can actually see all the mountains and paths and you feel like you're already playing the game.
The back cover is spot on. It's a traditional theme for a back cover. It reminds me a lot of G/S/C on Gameboy Color. A great homage to a retro style again.
As you might have seen with some of the boxes I've posted this year, I've been experimenting with creating nice 3D mockups of my work too, and I've got to say the presentation of this box is so eye-catching. I'm a big fan of presenting your own work in the best way possible, and this has inspired me to do something similar.
Overall man, this is honestly one of the better, if not best, covers that I've seen posted on here for a long time. It's unique, it's fresh, it's retro and it's presented so professionally and proudly. You can see how much work you've put into this and you should be proud man.
Looking forward to seeing your boxes :)

Wow, thanks for such a stellar review! It's been a long time since I've posted anything here, so it's very nice to come back to this kind of a welcome!
I'm really glad to have inspired you, and I look forward to seeing your boxes, too!

Looks really good! I suggest moving the Pokemon on the front down a little bit so it's paws line up with the bottom edge of the box. Also, you should add a Nintendo logo and The Pokemon Company logo on the bottom of the front as well to make it look more official. Would be nice for the presentation too if you added the Pokemon Shield logo somewhere at the top, like how we do with our presentations.

Thanks for the comment!
One note: At the time of N64, Nintendo didn't put their red logo on the front of the boxes, only on the back, which I have, and The Pokémon Company didn't put their logo on their boxes until Ruby and Sapphire, after the N64 era. :)
