It's just not very thematic. The logo's ok, but the temp's so-so, can't see the MGS logo, M logo too high, etc. For a first box though, it's not very bad. 3/5.

For a first box, well, you're right. It's horrid. The picture quality makes me want to commit Hari Kiri. ESRB, Bungie, and MGS logos are all horrible. And the temp is just... well, it's okay.
My suggestions are to get GIMP (google it! don't ask for a link when you could easily google it), which is free, and when searching for pictures, get some that are so high-res, it'll blow up your spleen. Messy messy...
But your halo 4 logo is pretty good, although you just used Text, bevel, and outer glow, it looks really clean and nice.
If you're not sure if your boxart is very good, post it in the Boxart(critiques) (link) section of the forums. If you need some help with finding logos, or temps, go to this thread(http://vgboxart.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32). It's really useful, the people there are nice (except me)

4. The template is the worst one for X360 I've ever seen, no offense.
