Due to the very positive reception of my first submission, I decided to quickly set up a cover series of some Ghibli movies using official artbook sketches as the base for the composition.
I find most Ghibly boxart (with the exception of the bichrome ones) to be quite uninteresting, so I decided to take a try.
This was done in a couple of hours, so it's rather simplistic.
Next are probably Nausicaa and Mononoke.
As always, ANY criticism is welcome :)

Thank you for your kind words Paper.
I'm not very happy with the back as well, it needs some work.
I'll probably try to integrate the dragon a little bit better in the composition, probably using it in both front and back to create more consistency :)

That front is wonderful, although I'm not so sure on the other girl with the black hair being there, but other than that, it's really cool. However, the back brings it back a bit in my opinion, it lacks a bit of structure at the moment, and the all grey background makes it seem a bit dull to me. I like it as is now, but I feel like it could be better. I hope I didn't come off as too harsh on this, and a belated welcome to the site! :)

Thank you for your comment!
You critique is completely spot on, I'm not satisfied with the back at all, but I wanted to get this out, in order to get some useful criticism and to set the guidelines for the rest of the "series".
The boy (that looks like a girl) on the right is an important character, but it has no good sketches, so its image is taken from a movie still instead of a sketch, that's why it stands out a bit, and feels out of place.
Any critique is very welcome, I'm a newbie after all :D
