ello everyone, new box! sorry it's been awhile I lose track of time easily haha, so Mario Kart 8 probably my favorite game out on the Wii u currently and I've wanted
to do a box for it for the longest time but never could quite manage to get my ideas down for it but the other day I finally gave in and brought the Adobe CC yearly subscription
And was messing about with the New 3D settings and thus this was born haha. Big big thanks to everyone who helped out in the wip threads, especially big thanks to Sarashi
who brought this box back from almost being scrapped so big thanks to her haha, sorry for the somewhat bad quality VGBA is messing up again and had to upload it as a Jpeg..

I love the front a lot. The back is also good, though the treatment of text is a bit wonky. Nonetheless, you did an awesome job.

yeah..gotta admit I struggled pretty freaking hard with the back cover, I really need to practise with my prospective and typography when it comes to back covers, I feel like that's the one thing really keeping me behind currently. Thank you though Lucid, good to see you still around =)

This looks good as is, please don't get me wrong, but it also looks unfinished in my eyes.
The template is some odd combination of the PAL and NTSC templates, and leaves that large gap where the ESRB box would be empty. I'd have stuck in the PEGI rating boxes if there were any there.
The review and features text appears to be warped in a really weird way. I still think it would look better if you were to make a curved path following the contour of the box and place the text along the path, as that way the letters would all be uniform sizes and unwarped. The warping is best seen at the moment on the right hand features, especially the "up".
I also am not sure about how you've changed the font choice from the one you were experimenting with in the Abandon-O-Rama thread to a sans-serif font. I think the original serif font you were going with might look better.
The front is looking pretty great though.
Again, box is very good but there are places where I think you've rushed it.

honestly, I knew this was gonna happen, like 90% of your boxes are HoF, the talent it takes to pull this off is quite a bit and u have done a great job, congrats man :D
