I felt like taking a simpler approach to this box and adopted a rustic, book-like theme. I also wanted to portray the use of beautiful art within the game by placing emphasis on strong and bold colours.

I love it. I just wish the top text was as visible as the bottom text, but its still awesome!

:P I noticed the same thing! I didn't think the text would fit into a similarly sized region to the Supergiant Games logo.
I think we have a minor case of OCD.

Looks really great. The spine could maybe have some logo/information about the game. Not necessarily, but maybe.
The only thing I dislike (a tiny bit) is that you used pretty much the same art twice on front and back. Maybe you could have used a different pose or artwork on the back.
But all in all it is fantastic. Great colour effect, nice text. :)

They are actually different renders - different angles, too. You wouldn't normally be able to see both the front and back at the same time. To be honest I was struggling to find a decent piece of artwork that I could render.
