While I love the comic feel you went for, I feel like the splatters are distracting and might not go too well with it. You also seem to have a combination of grunge on the front; if I could make suggestion, it would be to stick with one clear style (comic book OR grunge and/or splatters.)

The front is looking great and very creative! I'm not really fond on the blood splatters though. The back has got that comic feel to it, which I really like and also feels right to me, but I'm not so sure about the Garfield render on the back :/ seems more appropriate on the movie box of The Amazing Spider-Man imo.

Just to point out, the splatters weren't supposed to represent blood, rather the colour of Spidey's costume.
