After nearly an entire weeks worth of work, here is my entry into Stevencho's mini competition! :D
The theme of the competition is remakes of 10+ year old games, so Jet Set Radio was the perfect choice for me. since I doubt we will get another JSR game anytime soon. D;
Since custom artwork is encoraged,besides the graffiti, the box is pretty much all hand drawn / redrawn artwork. I took various design elements from the old dreamcast JSR boxarts and incorporated them into my box.
Good luck to everyone in the competition.

Hey can you make me a printable please. I'm making an honorary case for JGR because its coming out as an XBLA game. I want to put the box right next to JSRF in my collection and this is by far the best JGR/JSR box I've seen. Thank you.
Thank you so much! Oh and as far as critiques go, the only thing I can think of is that maybe for the name on the side of the box you should use the font found on the JSRF box. And have it say JSR and then jet set radio underneath. It is a brilliant box and I love how you put some classic graffiti on the bottom left side of the box.
@Fearedone
Yeah, the screens are from JSRF, since this box was designed as an imaginary 10th anniversary remake for JSR and not for the re-release version for xbla.
@SGJin Yeah but you can use all the in game graffiti and logos like you did. Also with the summer release date images should start popping up soon. IGN along with the confirmation also released a bunch of HD screenshots of the new port!

I love that disc template! And the whole thing

I'm actually hating all these drop shadows, but it's a nice design.

If only this were true. I agree with Manuel that the drop shadows aren't working well, with this design or JSR in general.

#10, #11; Hmm... maybe I did overdo it with all of the shadows, working on projects at 3 am tends to do that.
I'll play around a bit with the shadows and see if they need to be removed or not.
Thanks for the critique

Very nice.

Updated with fixes.
1) Inner drop shadows removed from text and template.
2) Cleaned up (new) disk template.
3) Minor color adjustments.

One game that I've been waiting to be remade for a very long time. However, knowing Sega it would turn out awful. As for the box, it's outstanding.

Dude, this is insane!

Requested printable is up.
I am also pretty exited for the re-release of JSR over xbla.

Also aren't those pictures on the back from JSRF not JSR?

@SGJin Do you think we'll see any JSR xbla boxes in the coming weeks?
[ Reply ]
I'm not to sure about that one, JSR is actually pretty light on official artwork.
