As i said in my forum post, I'm sorry for "another Halo 3 box", but i kinda had to do it. I just had the urge, so I started on it. This box alone made photoshop crash 4 times and took me a total of 10 hours. I had to do the lower portion of the back myself, as well as the borders surrounding the screens, and the effects on the logo are all my own as well.
the logo itself was supplied by LnknPrkDude.
the description on the back is by the winner of the halo 3 box art contest.
As you all know, i completely stink at writing my own descriptions, so I used the best i could find.
So in closing, i hope you all enjoy this box, even if it is just another one for Halo 3 :P
It's clean, well put together. Everything is properly cut and layed out. No obtrusions, everything is pleasing to the eye. Hell, this is one of the best H3 boxes I've seen in a long time.
I don't like the side cover. You should add some background... And Microsoft logo should have drop shadow or something like that.
This box is not original... "Another Halo 3 box". The same screenshot and the same "finish the fight"...
Also I can call it "best Halo 3 box on the web" (for now ;)...
Overall, this box is very qualitative. Quality is a rare thing in our days, so my mark is 5/5...
a 3.5? i dont find that very fair...especially when the person who gave it can't even justify the vote :(

Now don't get me wrong at all wicked, please listen!! This is an excellent box, it's extremely well designed, it sells extremely well as 3d and must have taken a long time especially since you did your own logo.
But, the truth is I sort of despise these halo 3 boxes which just use the same cliche snaps from the trailer. I know this must seem a bad excuse to knock this box from #1 to #23 (I honoustly, swear to God did not mean to) but I'm sorry, it's just too cliche for me.
I hope this won't damage anything we have between us (if there is anything? 0.o)
#12, That's not fair, you cannot rate a box based on the fact that you are tired of these kinds of boxes. Then simply ignore it. You say it's excellent and extremely well designed, you can't then give it a 3.5.
15# Even though I donÂ’t agree with VetkaÂ’s score, those hexagons on the front look really cool and wicked brought life into beaten to dead material, but even judging a box on its own I do agree with Vetka that really familiar material can take enjoyment from a box which is still judging the box for what it is, just not in this case, oh and Wicked Gamer1 heres a 5.

Wow, that is quite awesome WickedGamer1. Looks like I'm going to have to dig up my full cover I was making a while ago, give it an overhaul and one up you. =P But seriously, that is a sweet cover. I love the logo the most, but I also like the little things like the blending around MC and the honeycomb pattern in the background. It's the little things that make a difference, and your cover is testament to that. I could say the back could use some fixing up (the blurb font, and I think the glow around the metallic borders is a bit too much), but I'd just be being really picky. =P
All that aside, I give it 5/5. Best cover I've seen on this site.

i usually just skip halo 3 box's as theve been made a million and one times but this is one of the few that are accually good.
i love the quality and the layout great pictures used it describes the story.

Well that's really where the 3.5 part comes from. If I based the rating solely on the fact it's another E3 Trailer snapshot I would have given it 0.
