This is my entry to the 3rd Round of the VGBA Cup - Colors.
When the round rules were changed, and the only 2 consoles that we could do the boxes on were the N64 and the PS1, it hit me in the head very fast. Well, thanks to everyone who commented on the WIP and special thanks to Manuel because he helped me though out all the process in a very detailed way.

Kirby's outline is so much thicker than anyone else's. Also, the presentation had to conform to the 5-colour limit, and the reflection is a lot more than 5.
#8, LOL, well I tried my best to not get out of the boundaries of the real artwork, but trying not to make it as alien as possible, and this is what you get.
I think the last line of the upper tagline should be "Smash it!" instead of only "It!" A presentation issue: The black frame of the front doesn't match the size of said front perfectly, there's a transparent border at the top and left. Also, I think you should've put a black square in the color palette, just for the shke of it, lol.
Man if I saw this in a store 12 years ago and had no prior knowledge that this existed from magazines or other promotions this may have had I would've picked it up JUST for the box. I love how you got around the five-colour rule and created some fantastic custom art.

I'd expect something more action-packed coming from a fighter, but then it's good to veer away from the predicable. Nice work.

Not a bad box, and a fine choice of game for the round. The artwork on the front is a little inconsistent, but it's all good.
