:Â…you were right. It's not about changing the world. It's about doing our best to leave the world... the way it is. It's about respecting the will of others, and believing in your own."
Part One of my Metal Gear Solid collection. It seems that the majority of both MGS4 and Rising boxes on this site use computer-rendered images and not the original artwork of Yoji Shinkawa, which I must say, is quite a shame. For these two boxes, I wanted to go back basics; work with plain (yet beautiful) artwork, and create something extraordinary out of it.
For this box, as you can see, is an homage to dmshaposv's mind-blowing Metal Gear Rising box, found (link) However, it was still an incredible amount of work, and I hope that you all can appreciate the effort that went into this. In fact, I originally wasn’t even going to use the “corrupted data” look until I saw an amazing piece of artwork from a MGS art book that used it, so I thought it would go well with the art.
Expect Metal Gear Rising soon, with a completely original design by me. And as always, enjoy! Template by Sens.

Me likey. A bit cluttered on the back, but it really works for the box. It fits MGS like a glove, but I have one small thing to say: The two pictures on the front are differently blurred, as the lower one is clearer than the upper one. That's kinda wierd, I'd have to say.
But overall a very cool box!

I've always wanted to work with Shinkawa's art, but I find it very difficult. The back is a little crowded towards the center, but it's a nice homage to DMS' cover. Great work.
Looking forward to your Rising cover.

Awesome game, awesome box.

#3, I agree that the center is a bit crowded, maybe you could change the opacity,
off the artwork on the left, so it's less present. It's only a minor thing on an epic box.
