This is my Inception /The Dark Knight DVD Suitcase Limited Edition. I based it on my previous Inception/The Dark Knight cover. But this a special edition with never been seen Special Features and Featurettes. It includes the Inception and The Dark Knight DVDÂ’s directed by Christopher Nolan, 2 whole bonus discs with brand new Special Features, both Original Soundtracks by Hans Zimmer and James Howard Newton , and CobbÂ’s Spinning Top from Inception. This took me at least 6 weeks so hope you guys like it. Comments and favs appreciated, thanks.
I personally think it's a silly concept. The two movies have nothing in common save their writer/director, and the only time you really see movie packs based on an actor or director or writer is when you see the $10 DVDs at Wal-Mart that are called the "Stalone collection" or whatever.
Not to mention the fact that you're taking the extras way, way, too far. You could've only done the Inception cover with the totem and it would've been a presentation with much more impact. Instead it looks lazily slapped together and milked (Take the same general cover and paste it onto a CD template, book template, DVD case, and throw in a briefcase in the background.)
Despite the fact that I'm sure a lot of work went into your Inception and Dark Knight covers, putting them into this image with a fuck-ton of other products with the shared design steals ANY impact they would have otherwise had.
Less is more, in this case. Ditch the suitcase. Ditch the soundtracks, the book, everything except for a DVD case and maybe a small "extra" to include like the totem, and THAT would be a good product.
