inb4ythebgrainbow: It's a hit on the fact that the 5th gen has some weird color combos on pokemon. Don't believe me? Look up the cover, then look up Aaken.
Anyway, Black and White will be the first Pokemon games I refuse to buy. I've heard good things about it universally... but the odd story, bizarre character designs and even worse pokemon designs are just entirely too much for me. It's going to take some serious convincing before I even think about purchasing cartridges. (I have PLAYED the game though. Owning and playing are too different things. ;p)
Anyway, shortly after posting this, another non VGA member showed "Kinda looks like a Dinner plate Version" to me. I guess it could look like an intentional copy... but that wasn't the point. The box is really just a series of inside jokes with friends.

I pooped in my pants. a few grammar issues, but overall this is a reall ygreat box.
would've loved to see something that said it had pokemon that were now edible (IE: an Freaking Ice Creme Cone)

Pokemon black and white is actually really really good. There's some pokemon that look weird like woobat and the one's you chose for the cover but the majority look pretty normal. Btw that blue thing on the front is the middle stage of a frog. Poliwag didn't have arms either... anyway hater, cya.

#3, As I pointed out, I hadn't actually seen Ninty's box til yesterday. Yes the box is founded by a similar idea, but the only way they're connected is that they're both jokes about Pokemon. They're entirely different jokes about Pokemon. That's like saying if a person makes a joke about a certain ethnicity, that everyone else who makes a joke about that ethnicity is copying that first person.
#4, Arguing my opinions and constructive criticism are two entirely different things. The majority do not look normal. I don't know what gens you grew up, but they do not look normal. Poliwag wasn't shaped like a chicken nugget, didn't look mentally handicapped, didn't have zits, and didn't have a condom for a tail.
#5, eh, that joke has very limited potential.
