My 4th box. Had another go at 3d-ing. Tell me what you think.

Credits to Ninty for template, SilentMan101 for Mario and Princess Peach, Rayblade for logo, Mariolee for Waluigi, Spypilot for Wario and Yoshi, and Planet Renders for Bowser, Google for Luigi.

Comments, faves and constructive criticism deeply appreciated.

So rather than wait for anybody to offer you any suggestions in the WIP you just made, you went ahead and uploaded this??? Next time wait more than half an hour for some feedback.

The box is pretty bad. You just threw a single filter on top of everything and it looks nothing like paper. The filter makes the renders blend in with the background too much, and that 3D background shouldn't really have a paper texture over it anyways. Your text is taking up too much space on the back. Overall the whole thing needs to be reworked.

Next time have some patience and wait for someone to point this out to you in the WIP forum. What sense does it make to make a thread if you're not going to use it.

#2, Sorry. Can you tell me how to improve? And it's supposed to look like crumbled paper. I didn't post it in the WIP, though.

#4, Yes you did make a WIP
You made a WIP here: link

and then you posted this box about 30 mins later. I'm saying wait longer and get some real feedback before posting to the main page next time.

As for the box, the paper texture trick is best achieved by using an actually image of crumbled up paper rather than the filter you used. You can do this by googling 'paper texture' grab one of the images that is extremely big and change its opacity and blend mode so that it looks right on your box. Another thing you would want to do is have a slightly different texture for every render and the background instead of just one over top of everything. And adding drop shadows to your renders so they look like they are set on top of the background would help them look more paperish as well.

I personally think its great. The only comment i would make would be that the back needs the font smaller and that Jump needs a capital J or its going to annoy the S*** out of me. But really. Nice Job :)

Sorry about the double post but its not letting me edit for some reason. I would like to say i realise now that there was meant to be commas and also i would like to say i doubt paper Mario was made by the Pokemon company.
