Perfect Blue is one of those movies I have wanted to make a box for a while but never got any good ideas for it and since it's almost 13 years old by now HQ-material is pretty much non-existent. What made me finally try my luck with it again was the terribly sad news of the director Satoshi Kon's passing which lead to an inevitable rewatch of this, my personal favorite of his. During the rewatch the scene where this picture link is taken from are the one that really stuck with me so I redrew it and the rest of the design just came to me while listening to the fantastic soundtrack of both this and his other movies Millennium Actress and Paprika.
Anyway, I hope that there are some people here who have seen the movie and will get my idea and for those who haven't I really recommend everyone to do so. It's a delightfully wicked thriller that could just as well have been a big Hollywood production.
Please check out the full version as well as the printable. Comments and critique are welcomed as always.
Thanks everyone :D Your comments really means a lot! Didn't expect this to get this much attention in such short amount of time. Some of my other anime boxarts haven't even gotten this much attention in half a year :P
A great box for a true masterpiece film. I don't own the movie, so I can't watch it, but I recently ran into Paranoia Agent, which I never caught when it was on TV, and Memories was recently on TV, so I do have some Satoshi Kon in my near future.
I nearly missed this. Wow, I remember going to an independent cinema to see this years ago and the 3rd DVD I ever owned. Great job, suits the film well.
Thanks guys! Looks like these final comments pushed it into the hall o_O
Once again (repeating myself like a broken record :P) I have to admit, I did not expect this to be even half as well-received as it was. Thanks a bunch everyone who fav'ed but a special thanks goes to the people who commented! Kind words really keeps my spirit high :)
This is one of my favorite movies of all time! :D Creeped the hell out of me but was awesome. I love how you captured the pure creepiness of the film. Amazing job.

Rest in peace, Satoshi Kon.

Thanks for the comments! Nice that so many have seen the movie, wasn't expecting that.
#9, Ah, Paranoia Agent. Brilliant little show that's sadly way to underrated.

Faved for the box, but also for using IMGUR as your image host. I hate people who use Photobucket or Imgshack.

I'm going to assume this movie has nothing to do with the color blue.
