One of my favorites from you. It looks great, and it fits the Paper Mario games very well. Also you weren't the first person to use a bulletin board type layout for a box, just the first to do it for Paper Mario.
Well either you like this or you don't lol. I got very mixed reviews in the wip. The stage is custom art by me. With the back, I wanted to do something noone has ever done before. Also, some humor elements are added in to the back if you look closely. Anyway, love it or hate it, I had fun working on this and I hope the effort put into this shows.
EDIT:
#1, #2, you guys are fast
EDIT AGIN:
I forgot to mention that this is my entry for La Competencia.
Kinda meh imo. It looks pretty good, but nothing really stands out as above the good crop of art on this site. Pretty much just sitting above average imo.
Looove the back, the front is nice, but i hattte that temp. I think you should use elements from the official temp but just different sizes/positions. That would look much better imo
I feel like I should tell more about the back. Basically this is a corkboard in Mario's house. This corkboard explains mario's feelings for Peach in a funny way. Hence the pic of Peach at the Beach. Also, look closely at the wedding screenshot. It's been edited a bit. Originally, I planned to swap the button with badges from the Paper Mario games, but hi-res pictures of badges don't exist. I tried recreating a few, but it looked absolutely horrid to say the least
Is the Wii template supposed to be influenced by the N64 box design? I think it'd be neat if you added the player numbers, controllers used, etc. Similar to the official Nintendo 64 boxes if that's the case. link
This is just great. One of your best boxes, if not your best. Awesome custom art and and placement of the characters. You went with the same style I used on my recent paper mario box and I think you really executed this nicely. You defenitely made it more realistic and I think you used this concept of a cork board better than I did.
#1- Hey, I just did that a couple of days ago for paper mario. He was the second, dude come on! - Jking you just didn't see my box
#16, Thanks, man. I really didn't mean to copy you. I literally started on this, made the wip, and THEN saw you had made one. If that's not bad enough, I actually didn't notice the back to your box was a corkboard until I finished it. It was crazy.
I think the most disappointing part about this box is the fact that you almost never listened to the critique given...it's a nice box, but I would have liked to see some of the suggestions others made in your thread.
#19, I did what I could do to make the box look best. Almost all of the ideas were tried in several different ways. Some of them just didn't look so good.
I think the front, while good, it something we've seen on other boxes. Obviously, we haven't seen your exact art but we've seen similar art so the front isn't particularly unique. However, I absolutely love the back as I think it's really unique and really captures the wittiness of Mario games in general. Overall, I like this.
UPDATED: Printable added. Also, Version 4 is a printable for The Thousand-Year door. It's the same as this box, but with a different template, spine text, logo, and letter. Enjoy!
People just think these covers just magically get into the HOF, a lot of you guys owe me, I've been posting random links in the HOF thread from time to time.

Template looks kind of weird, but Roar's right that it's fitting of the Paper Mario style, and the back is pretty creative.

I agree with Roar and SD definitely one of my favorite boxes from you. It fits the Paper Mario style while still being very creative.

The template doesn't really match the Wii's or Paper Mario's art style. Other then that it's awesome.

You can't barely even see the characters, they are so small.

Thanks for the Hall of Fame! I was hoping this would put me at rank 7, and I'm a little disappointed that it only gave me 3%, but I can't complain :D
