Now you thinking "Humanity Factor? What is this?"
Humanity Factor it's a Half-Life 2 Modification my team was working on some time ago. Humanity Factor tells about the City 16. It should has many new features etc. Unfortunatly, Humanity Factor was shuted down :( That's why you don't know this title.
Anyway, in memory of the greatest unreleased mod of all times, here are it's box art. It should looks like that :)
P.S. All the arts from the box was made by me. All the screenshots is actually from the Humanity Factor.
Is this the size you're making them at though, or are you shrinking them down? If so, I'd recommend not shrinking them down so much because they will show a lot nicer.
2 The Electric general
Thanks for a good words:) Our concept designer creates black and white 2D picture of this face. It is a logo of the Humanity Factor. First I take a metrocop render. The shape of the combine on the logo not the same, as the real combine, his face more looks like a dogs face :) So the brights fragments of the respirator match with the distinct shape of the outline, and then magic in Photoshop and here we go. The background is a incredible big combination of the small renders, concepts and effects :)

If I translate your words right, you mean, that my box arts have some extra-height. Well, it is. Boxes have small white horizontal extra stripe on the top and bottom of the each box art.
When I create it without the extra height, engine decide that this is a classic double side box, and cut the left 50% of the screen, resize it and make the thumbnail. But the art is 3D, so this cutted thumbnail looks damn bad... SO I make it little bit heighter. Now engine thinks that this is a jewel cover of Nintendo or the Gameboy :)
Well, this is a big problem with the thumbnail. That's why I think there will be cool, if the authors can upload there own thumbnails. I could create the thumbnail with the black background (as the websites background) and not the white as the original. Thumbnail will be damn good looking :) Or you can upload the thumbnail manually, but this will cost you the individual work with each thumbnail. Though, this is only the 3D boxes problem, and the 3D boxes are not so many on the website :)
By the way, it is very important for me, that so many people comment this box. Cos, every pixel of this box it's my and my team job :)
Maybe I even design another Humanity Factor box :) But not now :)
#8, Oh, well, don't worry about the thumbnail too much. The main thing is how it looks on this page, and if you don't add that extra height, then it will show up nicer in these pages.

Suddenly all the rating marks become 4+, not the 5... And if earlyer there was 5-6 marks max, now it's about 10 and even a lot more :) And almoust all the marks is 4+ :-(
My enthusiasm is a bit smaller now, but... no one is perfect, I gues :D
Well, yeah. But there was 5 before... Ah, well, it's ok. Yesterday I even takes first three places in "Highest Rated"... Today looks like someone, who give my works 5 now in ban, and his voting history was deleted with my good marks :)

When the left side is cutted, on the right side (thumbnail) you can see front cover box with cutted side, and a stupid white (background) stripe on the right. It is cos the 3D box doesn' covers all the image picture space, it locates in the middle, and anyway has some small or big stripes on the left or right.

#32, Team members was not enough. We have too many ideas for such a not big team :) We don't want to release just few maps (as many mods do), but we can't finish everything we plan =(
