Been planning this for a while, I had to wait until there was some decent pics of the game and a little info before i decided to do it.

Completed today, used my own 4 renders of the logo and character from the trailer, resources taken from giantbomb, the card is my own design, the dice are rendered from a white background.

Enjoy.

EDIT: I have a printable version which i will upload.

Front is basically the same as nephillin's (or whatever) so it brings a soft of "already seen it" feeling. =/

#4, Not really, he used a wallpaper found here: link

I used a combination of both a rendered character from that exact wallpaper and this: link

So i basically did this as it is supposed to be done, other than using wallpapers. :)

I like the Obsidian logo you used. That would have looked perfect on my box. Bethesda Game Studios is not involved in the project, though. Its Bethesda Softworks. They're publishing and thats all.

Anyway, I like it. Man, I can't wait for this game!!!! Did you see my cover for it? Check it out!

#4, Hey, its cool. The more the marrier. :)

I did NOT use a wallpaper, though. I actually watched the trailer in HD on GameSpot and hit "printscreen" as soon as I saw something I wanted to use. I then sharpened, blurred, resharpened, and blurred again until I got it to look how I wanted.

Trust me, if I knew there was a wallpaper I would have used it, because it took me FOREVER to find some material! What's wrong with using wallpaper anyway?

#6, The Obsidian logo is my own creation, basically just the Mirrors Edge font for the Obsidian, then sans for entertainment and then a red line, didn't take five seconds to do, it also has a drop shadow applied in black twice and red once, to give it a glow.

I couldn't render the real one, so i made my own, all works the same.

And i put the wrong damn logo on the box aswell didn't i, i had bethesda and bethesda softworks next to eachother, i'll have to change that tomorrow.

Just a tip. Since you've used a photo of an actual PS3 case for your template, you might want to add some plastic effects. It kinda just sits on top as if it were outside of the case.

#10, Good point, maybe a glare going \ down the front and / down the back.

Thanks for the tip.

Can't say I really care for it.
Seems bland, and really doesn't capture the "New Vegas" aspect of the game.

This is a nice box ;)

I love those dices coming right at you at the back!

except the back font, that is a bit to simple imo.
you could have chosen a font that's more fitting to the Vegas Theme.
