The front's terrific, and I get you were going for a simplistic feel but the screenshots on the back take up a little too much room, I think. Some sort of description would've worked too.
I struggled with the back for awhile. I wanted to make this for people who already know what the games are about and are just getting the collection as a part of their "collection" (they might even own them already on PS2). With that in mind I felt that a description or other "marketing" text was unnecessary and detracted from the simplicity.
I decided to just go with a Kratos quote replacing "my" with "his", keeping it really simple.
I know I could do a more store shelf, mainstream, marketing back, but I liked the way this turned out. I'm not trying to get the attention of potential consumers. I just want to have some aesthetically pleasing to collectors.
The full print version is too big to upload. You can find it at...
I really like the front, although the back feels empty. I understand you where going for a simple look, but when I look at it I just kinda think, "Is that it?" Otherwise its great!
#4, Thanks. I think we have all come accustomed to having certain expectations of what we should see on the back of movies, games, etc. Honestly? I can't remember the last time I've read the whole paragraph on the back of a game, I think we just want to see the space filled with arbitrary text, just because. The thing that grabs me first when I pick up a game and flip it over is the screenshots, my eye is then drawn to the largest title block, by that time I am done, I hardly ever read the text. Question: When is the last time you've (anyone) read the entire text on the back of a game? I'm interested to know the majority.
I like what I've made, and I did it for a reason as you have all pointed out. I am sticking to my guns on this one (and big guns I do have!). Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it!!
I wasn't too sure about this one. I do prefer the second one you posted in the WIP forum. If you were to upload that as a version 2, I think that'd earn my favourite.
Also - in both versions, you seem to have a Chains of Olympus screen, which isn't included in the Collection.
#6, I realized that I had a PSP screen in the other design, but I tried to make sure that I didn't do that again. I got the screenshots directly from a God of War: Collection game page, so, I would assume they are right.
This is my first real submission. I made it to replace the cover in my hard copy. I hope others can enjoy it as well, as is.
I agree with #6, as the second one you posted in the forum was a better choice. The left image on the back is from CoO, so you've gotta change that, and I absolutely love the front, but there's one thing that you must do:

Make a printable version. Please.

Oh, and I just realized on the back, it says:
"Death is his calling,
Vengence his creed."
"Vengence" is misspelled; it should be "Vengeance." Also, the second line should read:
"Vengeance is his creed."
