Wooooooooo finally done. Well I think it came out good. This was originally going to be Sonic Adventure 3 but I ended up making it DS instead. I found some great sonic art as well. I wanted the front to be similar to Sonic Adventure 2 but make it look more fresh. I used the originally Sonic from the cover of Sonic Adventure 2 then found this great Shadow render on front which just fit perfectly. Then I had to make the background from scratch. Then the back of the box I took two Sonic renders that werent used on the official game boxes and put them on here cause it fit well. I wasnt able to find a good Doctor Robotnik picture for this game so I used a picture of him from Sonic Unleashed. It actually fits very well. Yes I know there are no Esrb logo or company logo on front. I mean its seriously not necessary. All Sonic games have been made by Sega and always will and each sonic game has been rated E10+.
It is called 'Sonic Adventure DS' yet everything seems to be centered around Sonic Adventure 2 with hardly a reference to the first game. And I'm sorry but saying it's "not necessary" is the worst reason ever to miss out an age rating and developer logo. How unprofessional and/or lazy.
And is it just me or does it appear not alot of effort has gone into the front cover. You went onto Google and typed in 'Space Scene' or something, found the 2 renders from Sonic Art Archive and then added the logo which even if you did make yourself, lets face it, it's nothing special. And then you even forgot the age rating and developer logos as mentioned above. That is seriously a rank 4 standard front cover.

Putting art before commercialism is hardly "unprofessional" or "lazy." The ESRB, developer logos, and other commercial bullshit that we all litter our boxes with is degrading to the artistic process. Why do so many users here think that their goal is to, not be a good designer, but try to copy whatever the big companies are doing?
Be original. Come up with a good, unique, idea and execute it. It drives me nuts to see users treating something as simple and pointless as logos or unnecessary text as if it were such a crucial and important part of the process.
Nice job, Jevangod. I support the clean cover. It's much nicer than a picture littered with shit.
#6, I completely agree with you here Cerium, not just for the facts hes mentioned but for the fact that other users get slated if they don't have them on, so why shouldn't this box? And again, not much creativity for the front, I was honestly expecting more Jevan, but the back is nice.
Edit
#19, I read your post, but it seems very basic. like the logo and the Sonic & Shadow renders have just been placed, it doesn't blend very well.
#17. and #18. Damn you guys never read my comments. You think no creativity with the front. I said I had make the background myself. The renders are harder than you think to render. Im not one of those people who just use the magic wand tool.
#19 Whats the point of lying about rendering the images yourself when they are already available from the Sonic Art Archive? Unless you wasn't lying and you did actually render the images yourself in which case, you are an idiot.
#20, Wow. Im an idiot because I dont know every sonic website like you which has all the renders. Shut up. Im not lying about it and have not reason to. I actually did render them myself. I get my renders from planetrenders.net Most of the renders there are pretty choppy so I find the original image and render it myself.
nice!

#6, No the ESRB is not lazy. After all I did I doubt that I would be too lazy to leave it out.

The back is fantastic,
Although the front is 2 renders slapped on background and a logo, no creativity for the front.
