Well hey. I know I said I wasn't going to post this box but I have been really dry with ideas lately and people kept asking me when I was going to post another box so I figured I'd just post this one. It was for Drakxxx's Halloween Comp. Anyways I made it simple due to the time constraints so I tried to make an original front to cover the lack of material. As for the tagline, it isn't wrong, it's supposed to the Birds is Coming. It comes from some of the promo material for the movie.

Anyways enjoy.

I'm very happy to see you posted this, the simplistic style rules!! It could also have been a Criterion box IMO due to, again, the styling and simple approach here.

Good work dude.

Do not like it. Why red? The dominant color in the film is pale blue. And "The Birds is coming" is a weird tagline.

#9, Because I chose a color and stuck with it. I thought that the red and white made a good contrast. Also as I said before the tagline came from a promo but if it is really that weird I can change it.

#10, While as a box the red and white work great, it's not representative of the film. The film uses red and warm tones *very* sparingly. Red is more appropriate for Psycho--something immediately scary and threatening. The Birds is more foreboding so a subdued color palette is more appropriate.

Fantastic work Steven.

#11, A subdued color for this movie would be deliberately predictable. Red is unexpected, and therefore more interesting IMO.

#12, But contrary to the spirit of the film. Unexpected and unorthodox aren't always the best route to take. Boxes should represent what is contained within.
