I know a lot of folks don't care for Tim Burton as a director, but I'm a huge fan. I'm really excited to see what he'll do with Alice in Wonderland.

This box took about 21 hours of work spread over a week and a half. The cover uses artwork from 9 different frames pulled from the hi-def trailer for the film. I filled in the gaps of the forest with hand-painted art and photos that I shot myself.

The back uses the Mad Hatter wallpaper that I made (available on the forums under wallapers) and features the most time-consuming part of this project: the tea party. I found various photos of teapots to create the scene and then added lighting and shadows for each element. The table cloth was made from a linen texture that I shaped in 3D.

Anyway, enough about the process. Hope you like the end-result!

It's good but I dont like how Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee seem to the main focus of the front, considering they are minor characters and all (Well okay, not MINOR characters but you know what I mean.)

#5, I see what you're saying, but I disagree. If I wanted to slap a picture of "the main character" on the cover, I'd have just put the Mad Hatter there since he's a huge part of this film. I didn't want to do that. I wanted to create a scene that showed a piece of Wonderland and not just a face of a character. I could understand your criticism if I'd put ONLY the Dweedles on the cover, but as you can see that is not the case.

#6 Well it wasn't really a criticism as such, it was just a little thing that bugged me a bit. It's still a really great and well-made box.

Awesome, I espescially love the template. Could I use it for a future box? Unless it's actually part of the background, as I don't want to take a template and a background. :P

#11, The template is an actual Blu-ray case that I photographed on the bookshelf in the presentation. I was planning on making it available without the bookshelf. Keep an eye on my Resources page. I should have it up in a few days.
