You can't beat an old classic. I spent many-a-day playing Pokemon Blue after school with my buddies. I've wanted to do a series of Pokemon boxes for a long time, now. Unfortunately this turned out to be nothing like what I was aiming for (A cover that focuses more on the trainers than the starter/legendary.) But I'm still pleased with the result, and I hope you are too.

Nice work man, very sleek and streamlined. Contrary to #2's thoughts, I think the alternative Charizard image is a nice touch, and certainly makes your design unique.
Wow, this is pretty popular so far. Wonderful! I'm glad you all had something to say. I agree that the image of Charizard was overall fairly iffy, but I think it had a nice FLARE to it (Get it? Ohhhh yeah.) I also agree that the back is somewhat bare, but I like it like that. I felt the real deal is way too crowded.
Anyway, I'm hoping to get more and more feedback, so please feel free to comment (Especially if you favorite it.)
Anyways man, I was expecting something good after all these months...and you didn't disappoint. Originality always scores high in my books, and that's exactly what this box is. Excellent job, sir, and I can't wait to see more from you!
#15, thanks. That's a big compliment. I really try for originality above nearly all else. I can't make a box unless I feel it's got some kind of spin on it that other people haven't done.
#16, It isn't. I believe it's a life-size statue that was at Comic-Con.
#17, I'm glad you like it. I can't stand generic red, and I love more royal or dull colors, so this was really pleasing to work on.
#19, I've already got it finished, except the image of Blastoise. I think I did a pretty decent job with the background. I look forward to uploading it.
#20, thanks. To be honest I don't really like the spinal text either, but I tried to mimic the official D/P boxes, which used a generic, white, font. I might change it...
Thanks, guys. It feels good to see that little ribbon. Now hopefully in time Blue will catch up. It just doesn't seem right for one to be here without the other.
i'm not a fan of the cover charizard...
and on the back your battling turtwig so its sort of unrealistic, the back could use another picture, but it's still good!
for design i give 8/10
realstic 4/5
over all
8/10 XD

I would have tried to search for another Charizard picture, but this one is original.
I would suggest to add two Pokéballs onderneath the right screenshot, it looks bit empty. :)

Looks very official, I like that image of Charizard as well. +fav

Not what you'd expect on a pokemon box, but thats originality for you.

Loks very official, however the back is a tad empty. Usually there's a pokemon or the female trainer there.

Very official looking, looks just like a modern remake of a classic should! Good job!

I've been killing myself trying to find high quality images of the Blastoise statue for the TFG to use for my Pokemon Blue box, but to no avail.

#18, hmm, you know, you could try for the blue an art deco mosaic feel to it,, and give it a real ocean feel you know?
