Its not that great you didn't put the charactors together I've seen the render somewhere before, you have done nothing to the logo, and I'm guessing that background is just a wallpaper.

#2, correct.

The background is composed of multiple splashes of red grunge brush. Part of a background was blended into the brushing, and the render on the left side was put in by me, optionally.
