This is my first box art. Go easy or hard. Don't really care. Can Some one give advice on a 3, mines not very good. Constructive words are always welcome.
For a three, try cutting up a 2 and the O in HALO. Also, the logo blends in a little bit with the earth in the background. A trick I've learned with that is doing a Drop Shadow with a distance of zero creates a soft black outline.
Overal I agree with pitt, it's a little too busy. Maybe go for a common color scheme.

Too much in it. Boxes should be more simple. It doesn't have any action, just a bunch of layers.
The execution looks fine, but the design doesn't look well though out.

when doing a box art of a highly anticipated game....keep it nice and simple. Try not to go over the top with the things in the art.
