so looks like there's been alot of music/movies submissions lately, and after this little album came out i guess i couldnt stop myself to join the crowd.
this is already my favorite album of the year, i really like the whole theme to the album. it's hard to really analyze, but it's there. if you have seen the official cover with the painting "Liberty Leading the People", i'd like to mention that i used another painting by that artist eugene delacroix, called "the death of sardanapulus", which interestly enough, i find fits the idea and themes of the album just as well, if not better, than the former painting.
anywho that's it of my little art history explanation lecture whatever
hope you like it
go out and buy it! or download it whatever just listen to it.
and buy me tickets for the concert, kthnxbai.
also please view in full
note: the images are intended to be slightly grainy.
btw, i feel like i need to say this but the box looks fairly simple, i worked alot longer than the average box
you know this is one of those times where someone puts up how if you can't see it at the stores, don't post it. Problem being, they sell stuff like this.
#12, thank you you're exactly right, this is so not profane in any way and it's so natural than i didn't even think about the whole nudity thing... i think the only reason why the nudity should become of any shock to anyone is mere immaturity or maybe just the fact that theyre not used to this stuff... but but believe it or not, back then, this was entirely normal, and the nudity is very tame compared to other things. in fact the official cover is even worse (as #14 mentioned), because in "liberty leading the people" her breast is entirely bare and below her is a half naked man and you can even see his pubes. it's symbolic, but i won't get into that...
anyways... thanks for all the comments and faves!
i'm glad to see my first attempt at something other than vgboxart wasn't a complete blow
#19, I KNOOWW SHHHHH
nobody was supposed to notice! I kept getting so confused because the song is death TO all his friends when i was making the box and then when i was done i was like shhoot! but whatever... too much effort to go back and change it...
Freakin' love this song.
Freakin' love this case.
:D
Ohhhhhh first comment!

#10, I don't see it as a problem, it's art. It's not porn or anything like that, not even close- this is in its own league.
If you can get past the fact that there's nudity, you'd truly appreciate this great box.
Besides, I've been sick of seeing the same kind of boxes lately, Seer gave us something different and I like that.

I have a feeling this might be the first CD to get in the Hall.

#10, No seriously---how old are you? There's a difference between art and just porn, and the actual Viva La Vida box has....ZOMG, nude people!
Anyways Seer, this is really nice, I commented on t before, but you reposted, so I dunno. Great work.

I just realised that ff22 put the title in his box as "Death To All his Friends". The real title is "Death and all his friends"
