Noob + Fantasy = Angry mob. This is as far as I'm going to go on this boxart, at least for about a few years so I can get better. Do note that I did post this on the forums to critique and requesting a logo, but no one replied.
Credit goes to me for finding everything, photobucket for the background, dafont for the VS letters, and first two comments to get rid of the back.

Hey, great first. But here's my thoughts. I dont like the black bars on the top and bottom, it looks wierd. The temp is bad, and the VS. part of the logo is a little choppy. Despite these minor issues, awsome first! I really love the blending part with the fire side or mario side and sonic side. Overall, sweet first! Im really looking forward to your future boxes. 3.5/5
