Ok so i thought sense there has been a couple Alone in the dark boxes that i would try to do one with some effects to it. I went with the white look, like the official if you haven't seen it. The fire took hours to cut out, i think it was the most annoying thing to cut out ever. The back has the Polaroid and gray box style like the website with the red strip across the box like the official.

Well it reminds me of the official, which I absolutely hate cause its way to white. But this is really nicely but together. Im not gonna fav just cause the white doesnt go wit the game really.

Its better than the other plain wallpapers on the site.. but whatever i think the white represents the emptiness of humanity that i feel when i look at the game and stuff like I am legend.
I like the white and i don't see why people think white is bad. At least there is a image in my white and not just plain white.

#4, Its not that I dont like it, I mean the game is a horror game. Its supposed to be creepy and dark and mysterious. I mean even look at the name, Alone in the DARK.

I understand that but go to the site and stuff. The style is white so i didn't want to go black. I stick to the real style of the games usually. If you dislike the white i understand but I'm going to follow the official look and try not to use plain wallpapers.

I wanted to make Alone in the Dark box few month ago when I first got all those arts. Great thing that I stoped, cos I have the same ideas, as Trev here :)
I think this box is cool - it's very close to the official.I would suggest to make the stripe across the box little bigger.

Mad Spike i am very thankful for the fav's but i think that you should make your box. Use my ideas or whatever but i think your a good artist and will have way better ideas than me. I'm not going to say you took any ideas or anything like that. You have a way of filling the whole box with ideas without making it look to full at the same time. So i say if you want to use an idea i did you can credit if you like but make the box if that is what you want to do if not thats cool but if anyone else rips my ideas there is trouble coming.... =] lol

I was working with Alone in the Dark box few days, but I failed. I always trying to make a lot of editings to the art for the box, but there are nothing I could done with Alone In The Dark.
I am sure that I am not gonna come back to the Alone in the Dark boxes again. But thanks for proposition. Maybe some other of your boxes will inspire me to make a remake. Anyway, I will tell you about it before posting ;)

This is great Trev - I don't see why everyone thinks "dark" or "over-blended" boxes are cool. I like quality and clean cuts which are visible - and all of your boxes are crisp.
So what if the game is alone in the DARK, I think the whiteness makes the game instantly more intresting than the generic dark boxarts of most other horror games.
(Best e.g. - ADFD's Silent Hill 4 cover)
My only complaint is that the back cover looks somewhat lacking in composition - maybe straighten up the tagline and doing something more exciting with the polaroids/synopsis?
The front cover, however, is excellent.

UPDATE
I think the update is a 100 times better. I fixed mostly the back but i also redid the spine so when it was put together as a printable it would be one image if that makes sense. I love the update and if i get another creative flow again i will try to make it even better.

Oh, I like the second version. Now the back looks more complex. Arts are blended in one picture.
