The black makes it look empty. Try to find a cool image to use. If your good with free hand then make a little crowd.

#6 & 7 i did do that, except it's cluttered. there's got to be something else, but even some sort of explosion is too overwhelming.
the update is basically bars holding the title, which i think adds a little more to the area :)
