Ok, so I've been working on this box for about a week now, and let me tell you, it was hard. However, I feel that the finished product is well worth the labor it took to create it. Umm.. so yeah.
It looks very professional, and very aesthetically appealing. I love the concept of a Nintendo counterpart to The Orange Box. I have to say that it's damn close to a 10/10 for me. I'd be willing to say 8.5/10
i really like the design and quality and stuff, but the back seems kind of empty and the font is kinda boring.
one thing i might have done differently is flip samus so her arm aligns with the space, it just seems like it would make more sense.
don't get me wrong though, it's still a nice box. :]
#7 - Thanks for your input, but I have to disagree with you about Samuses arm cannon being switched around. It seems like it would make more sense geometrically, but it just looks cool when her arm overlays across the border at a different angle.. there's just something I like about that. I do, however, agree with your comments about the back. There may come a time when I'll update the back to make it stand up to the front, but for now, I'll just keep it like that until I get more comments against it.
why a demo and not the entire SMG ;) this is really good! what made you decide to use blue? i would of picked red cause that's more of a nintendo color. plus mario and samus have red on them. also, as a suggestion for the back. maybe play on the companion cube idea with like a gold coin with a heart, a triforce with a heart, that metroid lightning symbol with a heart. just an idea! still a 8/10 +fav
#16 - I made SMG a demo because it's Nintendo's most popular game and they would want people to buy the full version for full price. I picked blue just because it's (almost) the opposite of orange, which is the color for the 360's Orange Box. Red looks too similar to orange. Thanks for the fav, by the way.
#18 - makes sense! ninny wouldn't wanna blow their entire load in one box! after looking at it again, i do like the blue. good choice! i guess i was just affiliating blue with blu-ray. if you like that companion cube idea, feel free to use it! :)
I like it but i think the idea for color boxes has gotten old. Its a idea i see to much to be really wowed when i see this ya know? It is a great box though.
#32, True, but this is the first time I've ever seen it done well. Most of the time it's just an ugly color with some games thrown in, with no real theme, and no real appealing value to it.
You've done a great job of portraying that same "Holy crap, what a great deal, what a great design." feel that the orange box has. Your "color box" is the only one I've seen that can really be considered good.

Why not call it the White Box?
Considering the Wii is white and all....
