The Luma looks pretty cool. but I'm having a bit of trouble believing you did this, only 'cause the Luma and Mario's hat and face are done so well, yet the ERSB looks crap....

if you made this all in Paint, that's very impressive. agreed with #3, however. If you did such a brilliant job on Mario, why does the ESRB look crap?

Yeah, it would be one thing if the face looked great and the body was screwy, but screwing up something as easy as the ESRB logo? Not sure...especially with Mario's sleeve being a different red from the cap. It's fine if you edited someone else's work WITH their permission, but you should credit them. And if it IS all your work, than I'd love to see an updated version with the body and ESRB fixed. Also, the ground is very bland...try detailing it a bit more.

He mightve painted over an actual image of mario (tracing)
Or actually painted mario by hand and just rushed the esrb.
Does it really matter either way? It still looks the same.
4/5

He obviously created a layer over actual images and painted it that way--tracing it. As for the 'Super Mario Galaxy' logo, that's a clear case of the 'Cutout' filter as evidenced by the two colors on the 'A' in 'Galaxy.' Then he added solid colors to the 'Mario' part.

I actually wouldn't be surprised if he used the Cutout filter on Mario as well and then just cleaned it up.

But one thing is certain: he did not do this in Paint from scratch.
