And can anyone tell me on how you invert colours in Photoshop Elements 4/5?
I'm used to CS2...
And also, is the characters blurred out to much? Or maybe I'm just paranoid...

No everything looks fine but if i were you i wouldn't invert the colors. It looks very bad and kills a box. It looks fine the way it is.
