I love making art on the computer. I've been cruising VGBoxart for months now, and I now finally joined. I've been making boxes on the computer for a year( though most are old and sucky xD). I like Sonic, Mario, Kirby, Super Smash Bros, etc.
Now that I've joined VGBoxart, I want to tell you all that I'm familiar with the VGBoxart community. I'm familiar with reading about lord_arcanus[I've always wanted to meet him but heard he got banned D:],Ranmakuu, MAV_WOLF(meep!), Koopadasher(my idol here 8D), yoman44, TrevOwns and much more. Honestly, I may know almost everyone here. Just pop up and comment and I'll reply saying I might have already seen your boxes/read your comments. Heck, like I said, if I'm familiar with almost everyone here.
And now we get to this box. This is not my first box. This is my 6th of my newest series, I made a 3D version with Imandix, but the spine turned out really weird. o.o I'll post my older boxes later. The quality here was messed up cause' I had to change the image type to upload it here. D:

Its an ok box. You did a good job not cutting up the template like a lot of new people do, did good cutting out the logos i think, you got the correct Sega logo and ESRB and i like how you didn't just put a logo and a wallpaper you gave it some bubbles and screen shots. You have a lot to learn. I like how you tried a full box for your first. Good job welcome to the site. 3.5/5

I think this is crazy! I don't think it's fair! I think that if someone wants to make box arts, they should! It's in the first amendment. Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Religeon, freedom of Press, freedom of assembly, freedom of petition, and freedom of making Boxarts! I think if he has the determination to do it, and is mature anough to handle it, he should stay!

So kid can be on a site and make a fake box of a game he likes and you think because your good at making fake boxes that will never be on shelfs that you are king kong and can boss people around. But I guess, Reed has a point on the age limit since some of the stuff around here comments/boxes/etc aren't appropriate for let's say a 9 yr old or whatever. Don't get me wrong, I'm not exactly for censorship, but letting things get out of hand seems a bad way to run sites,tv,movies etc. Imagine having a 4 yr old being able to see the more vulgar comments around here, not to mention flames...

Pretty good box, for a newbie. I find the best way to get better at something is to get tips from those that know more about it than you do, and to be constantly critiqued until your sanity is gone and your Ego is huge.

I'm a little creeped out that I'm your idol O_o. When I started, I was in the same position, I had been on the site for months before actually making an account, so I knew everyone before they knew me. But my idols at the time were HK, Arcanus, General, Mist, etc. But you have.....me?? I have to go clear my head now...
Anyway, for Paint this is good. Hopefully you'll get even better when you get Gimp.

Paint? good job. I used paint on my star wars box. not the reflection or background just the box and the box image.
