Although a bit choppy around the edges, it's a very good start. :)

Thanks. I can easily fix those edges. As far as styling the front, is there anything you think I should do differently?

I'm not sure in terms of the front but adding a back cover could help.

I'd like to try and get my front parts looking decent before I move on to the back. Or should I should work on both at the same time?

Better edges, render and placement. Looks like he has some horns. Good job for a first though. 5.3 :D
