Here is my new box, Super Mario Galaxy, for the Kickstart event. I put so much hard work into this box, trying to get everything just right. Thankyou so much to everyone who helped me in the WIP, you enabled me to take this box to a much higher level than I originally imagined. Thanks to Deividas for 3Ding the box for me.

Ahh there she is. Lets see. Love the simplicity of it and idea all together. You did a fantastic job putting together without making it look empty. The only thing that I don't like is the back Mario cutout. I think you could have chosen a less generic Mario. Him just standing there is a little boring. I would have liked to see the one with Mario spinning in the air, I think that could have been a neat cutout. But that's just a personal opinion. The box still looks great :)

I hadn't even thought of using a different mario cutout, but now that Deividas has said it, I have to agree. Something more animated and less generic would have given this a bit more life.
Either way, it looks great and you can definitely see the effort that has been put into it. :)
One other thing though, this is a personal opinion, I think the spine is too thick, I would prefer it so it looked like a regular dvd case.

Very Nice! Nothing particulary to see that needs improvement about the box itself, it's gorgeous :)

Only I'd suggest to add a light gradient to the presentation, so it's really standing on some kind of floor or something. Right now the galaxy in the back is all in the same contrast, that makes the box seem kinda flowing, but still having a reflection :/ that's kinda odd, don't you think?

The point of the back render is that Mario is standing on the planet, looking out into the galaxy. You can take it that he is looking out in amazement, or that he is about to set out on the adventure. Either way, it just felt more meaningful then a random spinning render.

@Bastart
Haha he was commenting on what me and tmrd said I believe.

And going for a meaningful back like that is pretty cool but I just dont see it with that cutout. He looks more like hes just standing there...thats it....if you were trying to convey a more meaningful back, i would have chosen a render of Mario laying down on his back and looking up at the sky, for what you were trying to go for (if you could even find a render like that) But then again, this is all just MY opinion. The box looks great either way so not really an issue all that much

@Deividas You're right, I was confused :/
so I red you did the 3D, right? did you also included the galaxy background? because, I think it needs a little gradient, so it's less floating in space and more standing on solid ground. otherwise you should remove the reflection and add a shadow below the box, right?

@Bastart
I actually did just the 3D and not the presentation. I made him the 3D box and the reflection thats all. I did not add the presentation background or setup. But yes I do see what you mean about the gradient base on which the box should be on

@Deividas All right, so I actually talked to the wrong person, again :/
nevermind, you did understood what I meant, that's a relieve ;)

I like the cutout you have now. Anything else would have been too busy for the type of box you were going for, in my opinion. I really enjoyed following the progress of this, and it turned out fantastic.

Nice one. I think the front is perfect but I am not too fond with the back especially the small Mario inside big Mario's head. But the box is different which is always a plus in my book. :)

I am happy you pulled this thing out of the Abandonorama (think that's what it's called) thread. EVERYTHING about this box is perfect, and it is truly minimalism at it's finest Yet another great box from you!

This boxart is truly Magical (Yeah, I know I'm hilarious). The only thing I don't like is how you have two Marios on the back. Other than that this is beautiful.

Well done, sir. I feel like I've seen the idea before but it doesn't really matter because you executed it well.

Love it, though the logo is to close to the edge imo.

Late, but that wii logo does not look right. It looks like it was skewed on after the cover itself was skewed on.

Amazing cover.
