That black template takes away from a good design. I recommend you change it ASAP.

The dark, mysterious vibe given off from the front works, but simply darkening the entire image only does half the job. More adjustments to the lighting, adding some glow to the lighting, for example, and upping the contrast should do the trick. Possibly place more emphasis on the red glow of Raiden's eye as well.
