Here is my submission to Round 4 of the VGBA Cup: Good Games Gone Bad.
It took me a while to think up a box, but this is what I settled on. Naturally, I made it look like a more brutal fighting game, with blood and whatnot.

Most of this is custom art (albeit traced). The things that are not custom are parts of the template (I made some, but also credit to Leegion and del337er), the blood, and the text.
I made the logo from scratch, also.

This has all of the components of a quality design: high resolution artwork, an eye-catching scene on the front, and a generally well laid out back.
Although, since the blood splatters are such an important aspect of the box, I think they should be a little more consistent, both with each other and the artwork of the game. It's most noticeable with the darker shades, like on King Dedede. It's smeared, and textured, and doesn't mesh with the characters.

I hope the blood can be somewhat overlooked based on all the other work I put into this box. But even so, that is no excuse, I suppose. I really did try making blood that matched the art style of the game, but I was just having a really tough time. Therefore, I resorted to using a brush. I know it doesn't look perfect.
But such is life. Thanks again!
The custom art is beyond awesome, but I'm really disliking the desaturated vibe of the box. Not much of a fan of the back's layout, as it's pretty basic; not a fan of the itallic text either. Kudos for effort, it shows this box you put much of it into, and it's something not many would dare to do.

#10, if it wasn't desaturated, it wouldn't look as mature, imo. But I do understand that it somewhat takes away the normal Kirby vibe. I appreciate your comment all the same.
Your artwork is nice, but this does not look like an M rated game to me, in fact if you took away the blood it could be the official. It has moderate violence, but is just too cute and innocent looking for me to believe that it's a mature game. I had the idea to do a Kirby box too, but in the end I decided it was a silly idea.
