I just think that this is the coolest Half Life 2 boxart ever, but thats just me. I think he other ones are way to plain. If yoy actually look at the logo, you can see gordans fase. Pretty cool, huh? Well, thats all for now. Enjoy.
sweet. the logo looks ace IMO, and i like the thing you did with gordons face. My only suggestion would be to make the text black, with an orange or gold outer glow (if you found it yet :P )
The best "golden logo with Gordons face" was on the cover of Half-Life Platinum. Half-Life 2 never uses the golden effects for the logo. Other thing is the color of the title. It's doesn't fit the cover. And what the hell with the Valve logo? =( Why is it white and red/brown?
I think the biggest problem of this cover is a colors and non-Half-Life style =(
And his points are valid. The HL2 symbol/logo and "Half-Life 2" text doesn't fit with the background at all. But the treatment of the symbol is cool and might work well on a muted background.

#5, I dont know anything about Half-Likfe 2, but this box, unless you havent noticed, is for the 360. Ther might not be a platinum edition, just Half Life 2 and Half life 2 Special Edition, which I made a box for. I'll upload it sometime later.
Episode Two will be released for PC, Xbox 360, PS3... Plus - there will be Half-Life 2 and Episode One for the consoles. So Half-Life 2 is actual again :)
