Well, first of all it's Super Paper Mario, and you've put it on the PS3. That alone is a big problem, and will alienate any possible fans on either side. If you do a well-known exclusive franchise, keep it on that console. As for the front, why do you have "The New Era" there? Is that meant to be some sort of subtitle for the logo? If so, it should be under the logo. I see what you tried to do with the sprites, and it's a nice effort, given the lack of materials for this game, but you should have made the lines around the sprites thicker. Look at the screenshots, and the official art. The art for the game has very thick, visible lines. Also, you show Luigi, but is Luigi even a playable character? To my knowledge only Mario, Peach, and Bowser are playable, though I could be wrong. And the tagline itself. Generally a tagline needs to suck the viewer in, so that they want to play the game. Saying "Everything has a purpose" isn't very exciting, nor does it tell me very much about the game. The official tagline "Mario flips out!" is much more appropriate, as it's both action-oriented and it gives us a hint about the new Gameplay mechanic that allows the player to flip the viewing area. Other than that, you've really given us no description of the game. For an RPG, you should give us a summary of the plot, or some sort of hint as to what we'll be playing, since the game is so heavily story-oriented.

#3, That's called a critique. That happens to be what comments are meant for, they aren't meant for mindless spam like you seem to think they are.

As for the box, its a nice start. Koopadasher hit many good points. Despite this being on the Wii not the PS3, the biggest issue I see is that the "New Era" logo really isn't a logo at all. It's more or less a tag line, just on the front. As for the back it looks too divided in my opinion. I'd suggest moving things around a bit, but also add someplace to put a description for the game. A good place for the description would actually be where the star is currently. Just mess around with it until you find a place you think a description would fit.

Small point here. Your spine text is running from bottom to top. Every game/DVD/CD I own has the text running top to bottom.

My main issue with this box is the contrasting art on the front. Not only is the background from a different game, but the characters are notably bigger than anything in it.
Next, I don't find the subtitle "The New Era" completely necessary. I mean, is this not the first Paper Mario on the Wii, thus a new era already. I could understand if you incorporated it more into the logo, but it's kinda just hanging out on the bottom, sorta awkwardly.
Now for the back, I like the design, but it needs more description on the game. As Koopa stated, the tagline is very general and could pertain to many games. Make that more specific to Super Paper Mario, add a description and you got something. The star is also a bit random, maybe something from the game would be a better choice. Also, the screenshots are a tad stretched as well.
But, most importantly, do not put Mario on the PS3. Keep it Nintendo to keep it realistic.
I see potential here.

Alright guys, can we act mature please? Tini Tempah, there is no need to be putting down other artists here. He's doing well, improving a lot. As for Necromancer and Shodiw, under no condition is it ever appropriate to use gay as an insult. Can't we all act our age?

#32, the subline of the logo could be more prominent. maybe you should try a similar style as the "paper mario" text (white outline, etc.). the image on the front doesn't fit the synopsis. luigi is lost and mario is trying to find him, right? so how comes luigi is standing in front of a house and waving mario a "goof bye"?

the back needs the most work IMO. the makeup of the text is nor very well (it's a bit over some "logos") and the font itself is not the best one. Why not using the one from the spine?

I also wanna add one thing: It sure is a fake box, but Mario on PS3? Nope... not working for me.

The front just got way better and the back is a step foreward too.

As for the makeup of the text: Keep in mind every printed media got something that's called "type area". I tried to mark this on a screenshot: link

So you should make sure nothing is placed outside the red lines. Try to keep the angle of the left text, but try to allign the beginning of each line on one of the red lines.

I am not good at explaining the technical stuff. Just try to make at least the left text like this: link

It doesn't make the back perfect, but it's a good step in the right direction without redoing the whole thing.

You just scaled it... and deformed it while doing so. Now it looks very off, because you got two different font sizes. Btw: there's a dot behind the exclamation mark and some other stuff that seems to be the result of bad editing...? (black "spots") O__o

Just take your time when you are editing your work - it doesn't have to be done within a few minutes.

Maybe you should upload your next work to the forums first? Just saying, because it's starting to get a bit weird to see so many versions ;)
