I am so tired. I stayed up all night working on this and just got finished. Took me forever to find a high-res picture of the prince on front. I was inspired by Mad Spike's box. Except I wanted to go for a different tone of blue and put some castles in the background on the front. I think it came out very well.
Is this for the Blue Expression Session? If it is, add the "Session01" tag.
I love the box, all of the bright colors really stand out, especially on the back. It's kind of a new take for Prince of Persia, and I think the color scheme works very well. The front looks great too, because the characters stand out so well against the bright blue and white background. Very awesome job.
It's beautiful, of course, but I'm not sure I like the choice of font for the back description text. It's a bit too curly, doesn't seem to fit. And I feel like the logo should have something behind it... a drop shadow or something, just to make it stand out a bit more, especially since you put it so close to the top. Other than that, great job, and nice work blending the screenshots so well.
#7, Thanks. The logo does have a drop shadow and it has a light outer glow. The font choice I thought for the back would be perfect cause of all the shapeless figures going on. Like the magic waves and all.
#9, Yea I wish I could have it centered but I couldnt, the image was made like that. The head band goes off screen.
I love the brilliant colors of this box, Jevan! Fantastic job. The colors are also unmistakeably "Prince of Persia" while also different and dramatic.
Composition-wise, the back is ace. I'm a sucker for centered layouts. The front seems inconsistent though, with the right-aligned characters and centered logo. Maybe you could move the logo down so that it is on the characters and make it smaller and right align it. I dunno. The splatter behind "Based on 70 Reviews / Game Rankings" seems out of place on a PoP box, IMO.
Everything else about this box is awesome though. I especially like the little glowing dots throughout the box. Great job.
This is a good box. I love the vibrant colors and I love that the front looks hand drawn, dunno if that's what you were going for but it looks damn good. However, as Joeseye said, the lens flares everywhere are unnecessary as is the scratchy looking texture over the top of the back. This is seriously the first time I haven't liked what you did with a texture but I feel it wasn't needed. You achieved a clean look on the front only to put a texture or pattern or something or another over the back? That doesn't make sense to me.
Looks like a good choice for a blue colour, and it looks good as a box as well.
However, i feel as if the blue was just..''slapped'' on.
Especially on the front, the blue feels out of the colour spectrum used for the rest, and feels out of contrast with other images.[such as the light green/brownish floor on the front]..which kinda ruins the box for me.
Besides that, the use of blue isn't very consistent throughout the design.
On the front, it's a very light, smokey blue, whereas the back contains a very harsh dark blue..
I'm not digging this as much as the rest,to be honest.
#20, Yea I see what your saying about the blue color tone. The back I had to make the color tone a bit darker for the text. It was too light and the font didnt look right in black.
I'm liking the back to this, even if that style of screenshots has been overdone with Prince of Persia cases. The front I'm not as into, mainly for the reasons Ayron already listed.
I love everything about the box, except that the font used for the description could be simpler. I really love how you incorporated the screenshots and the lens flares you used all over.

One of the best boxes I've seen in a while. It's awesome. Although I think you went to town with those lens flares a little too much!

Wow. This is gorgeous. I love the contrast, the lighting, all of that. It just pops and shines and is purely fluid awesomeness. Fantastic work.
