The white hat of the captain on the front sort of throws off the color scheme.

Not a fan of the cardboard box style Wii template.

But other then that this is incredibly well put together. (After reading your comment that you wish to stick out against the crowd, I retract my comment regarding the cardboard box style for this box)

Great job my friend!

Just finished up my box. Wanted to do something that stands out from the other boxes. I finished the front a couple of days ago. Than I gave it a two day rest and started another project Skyward Sword which is still in works. The back I had a tough time coming up with on here. Than I came up with something. I thought it worked very well.

#1. Yea your right about the hat. Never noticed that before. About the wii temp. I wanted to use it cause It gives me more room to work with and its nice having my own custom temp. Sorta like Joseeye and his old PS3 one.

I don't see anything wrong with the front, it's really nice and the colors are great. The back layout looks good, though a couple things: the typography is kind of odd, like the synopsis looks crammed in between Samus and Anthony. And it would have been nice to see the screenshots blended.

When I was looking at this I was like "Wow, this is well put together" then I saw jevan made it and was none too surprised. I really like the colors on it, they're extremely vibrant and fresh. sd is right about the synopsis though and the spine on all your boxes are too big. I don't mind that template but I think the spine should be smaller. I also don't think the renders on the front are blended with the background too well. I think that much looks amateurish (for lack of a better word) and I know you definitely could've done better on that. I'm not trying to take a shot at your skills either but they really stick out. I really like the background however, but I assume that's heavily Photoshopped. I guess that doesn't really matter though and was pretty irrelevant. Anyway, good job as usual.

One last thing, I'd maybe fade Adam (the captain) a bit, he's a little too saturated and really stands out like he is now especially since he's supposed to be behind Samus.

The back is great, but the bright background really damaged the box itself.

#9, Really? I actually found the background quite dull and didnt really have much effect on the box itself.

The bright presentation works well with the dark box, and is effective without being distracting. Good update Jevan, taking all the advice into consideration is awesome, and it turned out nicely. The blended screenshots and improved synopsis definitely help the look of the back, while Adam fits in much better on the front. =)

Great work man, it'll get a fav. There is just one thing that bothers me, there are two versions of Samus on the box, it looks kinda weird. Make it impossible to see through the helmet's glass.

#13, Yea. Well there is the present samus and the past samus. The one on the front is what samus looks like now. Back than she looked like what you see her look like on the back.

#15, Actually me either. I just learned from Super Smash Bros. Brawl and this new game cause they said it takes place after one of the games on the SNES.

#17, I'm pretty sure I know everything there is to know about Metroid. EVERYTHING.

Yes, this game takes place shortly after Super Metroid but before Metroid Fusion, which was for the GBA. And will hopefully explain what happens to Adam Malkovich. :D

#18, LOL. Lot of Metroid fans out there. I cant keep up with Metroid. I keep up with Resident Evil which has alot going on. I mean Metroid looks good but I couldnt possibly keep up with both storylines.

#19, I've always found I could never keep up with anything involving Resident Evil, haha. Metroid doesn't seem near as confusing to me.

#20, LOL. Same goes for me and Metroid. RE seems confusing at times but the more you play it, it seems so easy to remember. I mean I started playing the games when I was 7 and im 18 now.

#21, Yeah once you really get into a game's story, you seem to almost memorize it. I've probably been playing Metroid since I was 8 or 9, and few games/franchises' stories hold my deep attention and interest like that.

It is not bad and I almost got nothing to complain, even about the text* too, but the presentation is a bit weird. It looks like you got way too much magenta in it, because every white spot seems to have that tone. I would suggest you remove it at least in the background. If you don't like a white background, how about a very light gray?

* you should never cut titles like metroid <break> other m. it is okay within the logo, but always one of the "don'ts" within a copy. in case this happens you have to add some words or remove ' em to assure the title fits in one sentence.
