This is my entry for Round 1 of the VGBA Olympics.
As per usual, this is a custom design. I went through 2 sets of complete drawings trying to make a box for a Sonic RPG game.
The first drawings had a different fell to them entirely, and I think I'll make a box with them in the future. I decided to go with these as they
seemed to fit stylistically with the more bolder art style the Genesis era Sonic games featured.

I love how you didn't fall prey to the usual checkerboard pattern most sonic boxes use, and instead used a map, as an aesthetic element in the right context.
I always love your artwork on your boxes. Gives a nice, unique feel to them. This one especially. The coloring is well done, and the armor designs are just stunning.
Thanks guys! #5, I can understand that. Most of the Genesis era backs were really under developed, so i tried to find a middle ground by including some artwork.
#10, Yeah, I tried a couple different ways to make the illustration pop off the front along with the outerglow, and the light drop shadow worked the best.
I really like this. Mainly because it looks very believable and the artwork looks really good with the template. Usually that 360 looks very weird with your fictional games. This looks like it could have been from the era of gaming it represents. Only thing I dislike is the text. The pattern inside the sonic text needs to be dropped entirely. great work all around.

The art is amazing as always. I'm not so sure about the placement on the back though, it seems a bit...off? Its still a great box anyway. Awesome job!

Hmm, its nice!
I'm not fond of some of the random effects, though. Outerglow + Dropshadow rarely looks nice.
