The real background, horrible logos, and random sword really ruin it for me.

The logo isn't too great, the background is kind of weird, and I think that it would be better to remove the sword. (Not Marios sword, the other one)

It would be to boring if I removed the sword. It is suppose to be like you are holding the sword and about to battle Mario. Oh, and the background is from Sonic and the Black Night.
