Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots Box Cover Comments
Comment on Grand's Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots Box Art / Cover.
Did everything except the Yoji Shinkawa artwork from scratch. Lots of layers, repositioning, resizing, and modifications. Custom logo by me. View full to read the back text.
Comments & faves are appreciated although I don't think this is my best. I'm still not 100% on the text on the back but I decided to cut my losses for today and upload it anyway. Might rework it if I figure out how.

#2, that's Solid Snake. I've played through the game twice, but I won't bother coming up with an explanation why he looks old myself, but here's what Wikipedia says:
"Advanced cellular degeneration caused by a purposeful flaw in the cloning process used to create him has aged him prematurely".
So actually it does capture the essence of the game quite well, as Snake gets closer and closer to dying, and this is the last Metal Gear to feature Solid Snake as the protagonist.
Anyway, the front looks very good, but again, the back is...sub-par. Good job anyway!

#3, Yeah--age is a predominant theme in the game. The age of Snake, EVA, Hal, Revolver Ocelot/Liquid, Sunny, etc.

Updated the text on the back to run the width of the box as opposed to being flush with the image of the game cast. I think it looks better.

Fantastic stuff, love the front.
MGS4 was stunning, it was so cinematic and brilliant, I was so sad come the ending, watching Snake just slowly deteriorate.
Again, great box.
