Other than being a really stupid idea, the Renders are really choppy, you have no Bungie logo, the Dinosaur is floating, and the background looks like wallpaper.
Try reading some tutorials online on how to use Paint.net, because it looks like it was made in MS Paint.
On Topic: I don't get it. Halo: Dinosaurs? Anyway you should get a better background. Some scenery would be nice. Also like #2 said, Bungie logo's would be nice.
#4, Yeah, I am so jealous. But like 5 said, age is not an excuse, I'm only 14. So go read some tutorials online, practice, then come back and post some of your best boxes ;)
#20, Could you show me the original picture? The soldiers seem to fit the same artstyle as the rest of it and I'm a little suspicious. If you added them in though, well done.
You should work on the logo abit though, give it more of a metallic look.
Also, try a back.
#12, Also. Don't aim to get your boxes in the HoF. That isnt why boxes in HoF are there. They are there because thier authors spent time on thier boxes just for the satisfation of seeing it done. If nobody noticed, they didnt care. They just tried again. If you do aim for HoF though compare your box to the next guy's. Is it better? Always try to one-up the next guy.
#12, Yeah, no. This is far from HoF Material. You need a better logo. And its pretty good for a first. But not great. I Don;t believe that you put the dinosaur on the picture, the Characters sure. But the dinosaur no. But If you keep improving then you might get your wih of a Hall.
I didn't see the original design, but I love this box art. If you added in the soldiers then I'm very impressed! One improvement you could make though is to make the logo look a bit more like it does on the actual Halo cover. As I think someone else said, a bit more metallic.
#36, Yes, apply layer effects "Gradient Overlay, and "Bevel & Emboss" to the logo. After that, experiment with the various values for each filter until you get a nice result. I've never used Paint.net, so I'm not sure if these are options. Perhaps check out some tutorials on the software?
Wow this is really nice for a first, and a huge improvement from Version 1. As for the logo, i threw one together real quick. Be sure to credit me for it.
Well Version 3 is great! I like the logo so much better than the original one (Nice job del337er!). Keep up doing stuff this way and then sooner or later you will have stuff ending up in the HoF like you wanted.
Good luck for the future!

To be fair this is much better than the original. But that's about all it has going for it

#2, Now what do you think?
- No more choppy renders
- There's now a Bungie (and Microsoft) logo
- The dinosaur's on the GROUND, and
- The background isn't wallpaper!
Also, sorry TheMissingLink, and everyone else, for being mean.

Where is the artwork from?

#16, agreed. Post in the critique forums before posting a box that you are unsure of.

#20, Well, if that's what you say you did...Then it's not bad for a first. I've seen far worse. I think it deserves a little more credit.
