I just liked the picture becuase it depects an essential part of the Halo trilogy: religious links. Examples: the Ark, the Covenant, Halo, Prophets, and the Covenant vehicles are named after ghosts (Banshee, Wraith, Ghost, Seraph, Phantom, Whisper, Shadow, Creep, Spectre)

I got the idea to use "Cataclysm" in this boxart from Lodovicok, in his Halo 3 boxart with the Moon crashing into Earth's atmosphere...

srry but i dont see the point of the planets crashing and other then the missing esrb sign, great box art 7/10.

Becuase Cataclysm means a religious form of the apocolypse. Its the way the world ends, and it has a religious aspect to it, much like alot of other things in both Halo 1 and 2. I am hoping Bungie starts putting more Halo 3 screenshots out so we can make definate box-arts, instead of finding pictures that have nothing to do with Halo 3 (like this one I made).

This is a great box art, it shows tru despiration and once we play as chief, we'll feel like the last man standing :)

Wow, you used MS paint, that's impressive. Not only is the box really good you managed to use paint for what it's made for resizeing and square crops. How did you crop the H3 logo out in paint? Great job 8/10. Only suggestion is the M rating needs to be a little bit bigger.

i am a member at game renders dot com, so thats where i got the halo 3 logo, and i have a bunch of game logo fonts too...and i use powerpoint to put those renders in front of the picture
