Soooo, I haven't really been in the mood to do anything artistic, my life's been in a bit of a rut. I've been playing a ton of games in all my free time.

I finally just said to hell with it and finished this, though.

Now the planets, Star Bites and the star launcher are all done by my completely from scratch, referencing screenshots to get the feel the way I wanted it to be. I rendered Mario myself, just for the practice.

This also dawns my new presentation layout. I will still be creating in full print resolution, but I don't feel like I need the presentation to look like a 3D replica of the box, though I might use plastic on my future PS3 releases.

I also have my dark template variant on this as version 1. I will add a printable, but I'm trying to determine which I will use for that (most likely white).

Nice box. The back is kinda small, I wish it was bigger. Cool presentation though. Tall instead of wide, new, different, fun.

#3, Yup, I realize the back is kind of small, but to that, I recommend that you download the full size printable to catch the smaller details.

I may try to find a way to fix that issue, but for now, the presentation stands.

For everybody, thanks for your comments and keep all your comments coming!

The back's really boring.

#8, What made you decide the back is boring? I love this. I like the presentation, it's original.

I love the box design itself, but the presentation's 2D style clashes with the 3D style of the box in my opinion.

Actually though, I think this is my favorite box you've done so far.

#9, I agree, I wish I could get a little more than "The back's really boring."

#10, I know the presentation is a little odd, but it was kind of experimental.

Anyway, after my next box, I do believe I'm taking an official hiatus. I have two projects that I really need to get off the ground. I'll still be creating artwork, and I'll still come around from time to time, but I want to try and use my talents for a profession instead of just a hobby.

#12, Naw, calm down, I'm not doing this as a goodbye or anything. I just want people to realize I will continue to not be around as often, so as not to be surprised.

This box is fantastic. I especially like that you made custom art. I also very much like your presentation. Very nice background.
