My box for the essence collection. I tried my hardest not ot make sillouhettes, so I did the next best thing: paper cut outs! And what sereis would suit paper cut outs! Believe it or not, I did Pokemon first, then I had an epiphany: PAPER FREAKING MARIO.
I tried to make the paper cut outs realistic to give it more of realistic feel then other boxes. In fact, I think I'm going to print this out myself when I fidn that darn Paper Mario box. :P
I'd like to thank all of the people on the forums who said that this was one of the best essence boxes! Thank you guys so much!

Thanks guys so much! I'm trying to upload the printable version, but the box itself is 10.2 MB and the limit is 8 mb. How do I make it smaller without making it horrible looking?

Excellent job. THIS is what I was expecting from this new Essence thing, not a bunch of silhouettes on a blank background and people calling it artistic because it's simple (no offense to anyone here). IMO, this is the first Essence box that REALLY "captures the essence" of the game, at least that I've seen so far. I'm very impressed, he's a favourite for your efforts.

#10 Thank you. I also realized that this collection is suppose to show the "essence" of a game. So showing sillouhettes doesn't exactly tell me what the heck the game's about. But I tried to show through my box what was in the game. There was the paper aspect obviously, the partners, and attacks like the hammer and humor which is shown on the back.

BTW, I added a printable version. It's smaller than the original printable size, but just big enough to be high resolution and printable!

This would be the first Essence design I've seen since I've been on a bit of a hiatus recently, kinda not feeling my mojo as of late, lol. I like the template for the most part, and the design of this box is excellent. Very nice design you have here, very unique.
Unfortunately, I just found out that the Essence boxes are usually not nearly as well thought out as yours. ~_~

To be honest, i hate this box, paper mario doesn't look like that, and than its hard to see (especailly the screenshots), and i like the background, but you need to make a shadow on the pin, the thing on the paper on the front might need something like tape to make it look more real, and the renders bigger
