I decided to take a stab at the essences phase that everyone's going through and this is my result.

I'm pretty pleased with it overall.

This design could work, but I think the fractal sheep background does not compliment the color or style of the character silhouettes. Your 3D perspective on the template is off as well, but only because you tried to show the spine, which I don't think is necessary considering that you don't have a case template in the presentation. Keep this as a 2D box and I think it would be just fine.

Head over to the resources section and find a nice gamecube (or DVD) case template and use that. With a bit of refinement I think this design shows promise.

Edited it big-time. Changed the bg and gave it a DVD casing. I'm really pleased with it. ^_^
